Safety Procedures & Registration Policies
We’re are doing everything we can to implement as many protective measures at Open Heart Yoga Studio as the good health and safety of our students and staff is our number one priority. With your cooperation inside the studio as well as maintaining your own personal safety, we can continue to keep our yoga community growing and thriving.

Please Note
For the safety of our community, if you are not feeling well, have a cough, fever (temperature above 98.7), or any other cold-like symptoms, please DO NOT attend any in-studio classes. If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been in close contact with someone who has, or have recently traveled by plane, please do not come to the studio for at least 14 days, or until you have tested negative.

Sanitizing, Cleaning, Personal Belongings, and Safety
Check-in, Class Procedures, and New Policies
- The studio will be fully cleaned and sanitized after each class, including cleaning and sanitizing countertops, door handles, bathroom fixtures, the floor, and any high touch surface areas.
- We encourage you to clean and disinfect your yoga mat outside of the studio after each practice. There will be no mat cleaner at the studio.
- We are encouraging all students and teachers to wash their hands before and after classes.
- Please try to use the bathroom at home or at work before coming to the studio when possible. But we understand.
- We'll have hand sanitizer in the studio as supplies permit. Please feel free to bring your own supply for personal use while at the studio.
- We will keep the front and back doors slightly open for cross ventilation during class times.
- We are allowing for more time between classes for complete aeration and sanitization of the studio. Please review the schedule as many class times have changed.
- Masks are not required for practice. You can wear your mask into the studio, and once on your mat you can remove it. Once class is over you can return to wearing your mask. Practicing with a mask on is not recommended for various health contraindications.
- We have removed the props from the practice space and are no longer renting towels. Props will be made available for purchase as needed. You can bring your own, keeping the number of props to a minimum.
- Please keep personal belongings that are not required for practice in your trunk, and for your safety, not visible from any window in your car.
Check-in, Class Procedures, and New Policies
- Students are required to PRE register AT LEAST 2 HOURS BEFORE CLASS on the Mindbody app to attend all classes. As of now, we are not accepting ANY studio walk-ins to maintain contact-free entry. If you have any questions on how to use the Mindbody app or how to register, please call Jennifer at 561 877 8461.
- If you prefer to practice at home, please make sure you sign up for the class marked “LIVESTREAM” as classes will be running simultaneously in the the studio as well.
- IN STUDIO ONLY- - No shows and last minute cancellations for in-studio classes will be charged a $15 NO SHOW fee. If you register for class and can not make it, please remove your name at least 2 hours prior to class to avoid a late charge.
- If you register for an IN-STUIDO class AFTER the 2 hour sign up window, and you are the ONLY student registered, you will be contacted and offered the option for a LIVESTREAM class.
- Please arrive on time, and no more than 10 minutes before class. If you are early, kindly wait outside until you are allowed in.
- Studio class capacity has been reduced and can hold up to 8 mats plus a teachers mat with proper social distance. Please use the L shape markers on the studio floor for your mat placement. We appreciate your cooperation with the spacing we have provided. If you need assistance, please notify the instructor.
- Our practice studio space is narrow. As best as possible, please practice social distance when entering, exiting, and passing by others in the studio space at all times.
- Upon entering the studio, please go straight to your mat as quickly as possible, minimizing extra movement throughout the studio. Teachers will check the students in from their mats. There will be no hands on adjustments from any instructor, and all instructors will stay on their mats for the duration of the class.
- Livestream classes will video from a camera located centrally in the practice space. The camera will be aimed at the instructor and possibly the first two students in the front row. Live-streaming students will be emailed with a link for accessing the livestream classes once registered on Mindbody.
- If you are taking your class Livestream, it is suggested but not required to turn on your camera for a more group class community feel, as well as occasional direct feed back from the instructor.
- Current class card packages and workshop /event purchases may be gifted or shared with family or others if you plan to not attend. Cancellations made 24 hours prior to the event occurring may also be refunded or credited for future classes and workshops. Please advise at least 24 hours prior to class or event in order to receive credit.
- If your class card has expired between the dates of March 16, 2020 and May 28, 2020, please call us for a pro-rated extension on your class card. For questions please contact Jennifer at 561 676 2424 or [email protected]
- All retail sales will be final. There is no more "trying on" items before purchasing until further notice. Please keep all handling of retail items to a minimum, touching as best as you can with eyes only. If you do touch an item, please let us know so we can sanitize it.
- Please promptly exit the studio space after practice and continue conversations outside to allow time for cleaning and sanitizing.
- Please be sure to note our updated liability waiver. You can sign it online through your account on the Mindbody app or at the studio when you come in.
